Kalle Toivio, Organist
Kalle Toivio is a Finnish classical virtuoso concert pianist and organist. He has graduated from Sibelius Academy with Master of Music and also has degree in Church Music.

Kalle Toivio received Master of Music degree in Organ Performance from the Manhattan School of Music in May of 2010. Kalle Toivio was the organist at the Manhattan School of Music Eighty-Fourth Commencement Ceremony where he received the Bronson Ragan award which is given for an individual who has demonstrated outstanding ability in organ performance. In the Fall of 2010 he began his studies pursuing the Doctor of Musical Arts Degree at the Manhattan School of Music with Professor McNeil Robinson.

Kalle Toivio has performed in many international music festivals and on concert tours (Finland, Japan, USA, Belgium, Romania etc.). He has performed in TV and radio in Finland (YLE), England (BBC), Belgium (KLARA) among others. As an organist he has performed in Finland and USA. Kalle Toivio is the organist at the Christ Church in Bay Ridge Brooklyn. He also is the Music Director of the Finnish Lutheran Congregation of New York City, and the Music Director of the Finland Center Foundation.

Kalle Toivio's main interests in music are – along with the art of piano and organ – especially church music and early music
